Why we exist

Our mission

Most technical articles online are written to rank, not to help. They bury one good tip under three pages of padding, recommend tools they've never opened, and forget that the reader is usually mid-crisis: a deleted file, a drive that won't boot, a deadline looming.

TechNewsKB exists to be the opposite. Every guide is written by someone who has actually done the thing, structured so you can find the fix in seconds, and honest about what works, what doesn't, and when to stop and call a professional.

We cover data recovery in depth, alongside Windows troubleshooting, software walkthroughs, database tips and the storage hardware it all runs on. If it helps an IT pro, or a panicked human, get their data back, it belongs here.

How we work

Our editorial promise

01

Tested, not theoretical

Every method is run on real hardware before it's published.

02

Fix first

The answer comes early. Context and caveats follow, not the other way around.

03

Honest about tools

We say when free is enough, and when a paid tool is genuinely worth it.

04

Safety over speed

We tell you when to stop and call a lab instead of risking your data.
