Launch Mac mail on your Mac OS X and then go to Mail >> Preferences
You can see an account wizard, here click on Accounts tab
Now, click on the button of + button for the configuration of new account in your Apple Mail
In the appeared window, select Google and then on Continue
Then, mention your user id of Gmail account that was noted in the very first step and click on Next
Put in the password of the same account and click Next to continue the process migrate Netscape Mail to Outlook
After this hit on Mailbox that you need from Gmail and then, click on Done
You will receive the IMAP Gmail account name, which is listed on left-hand side of the screen
Then, Exit from the panel and go to Mac email application
Now, the configuration of Gmail id would be finished in Apple Mail. Choose any of the showed Gmail folder, which is followed by a click on New Mailbox option
Examine the location for the storage of new mailbox, put in its name and hit on OK
Then, import Netscape file into Apple Mail (back link) mailbox created the previous step
Convert Netscape mail to Outlook, by highlighting all required emails and right-click to proceed
In case, you do not wish to take the copies in Mac mail, then hit the option of Move To. Otherwise on Copy To
Once it is done, go to the location where the new mailbox has been created
The process of migration will start. After the completion of it, verify that all the files are in the targeted mailbox
Exit from the program and open any Windows version of MS Outlook.

Note: We are taking Outlook 2016 version here to convert Netscape mail to Outlook. In addition, before continuing the procedure, verify that IMAP protocol is enabled in Gmail account.

Then, open Outlook 2016 and click on File >> Account Settings >> Account Settings
From the new wizard, hit on New button and choose Manual setup
Then, enable POP or IMAP checkbox and hit on Next to continue
Put in all the required fields required and click on More Settings button

Note: The email ID and password should be same as that of Mac mailboxes

After this, click on the tab of Outgoing server and enable SMTP requires authentication option
Next, click on Advanced tab and type in all ports required for the incoming as well as outgoing servers. Then, click on OK
Now, click on Next to continue to continue the process of convert Netscape mail to Outlook 2013, 2010, 2007.
As soon as the confirmation message displayed, click on Close to dismiss the Account Settings
With this, all the steps will be finished for adding Gmail account. Click on Finish >> Close
Now, you can easily access the email of Netscape in Outlook 2016.
